Hello all,
we need your help! We want to see your Azure DevOps projects in the ODJ as of 31.10.2023!
Why?
Until the end of the financial year, there will be some changes around Azure DevOps and other systems, and for this it is important that all Azure DevOps projects are present in the ODJ.
You'll find out exactly what these changes will be in a few weeks. In any case, step one is to bring your Azure DevOps projects into the ODJ.
What do you have to do for this?
If you do not yet have an ODJ subscription for which an Azure DevOps project would fit, you will need to create a new one. It is also necessary to create at least one basic product in the ODJ after you have created the subscription (IMPORTANT: Do not create an Azure DevOps project, as this will be imported).
Afterwards, please open a ticket to s-int-it-odj, as the colleagues will then link your Azure DevOps projects in the ODJ. The following information is important for this:
-
ODJ subscription name
-
ODJ product name
-
Azure DevOps project name (please use the link directly from your browser - the link should look something like this: https://dev.azure.com/schwarzit/schwarzit-my-project)
Questions and answers:
- How can I create everything I need in ODJ? – First Steps
- Do I have to do anything if I have already created my project via the ODJ in the past? - No, nothing at all!
- Who can I contact if I have questions about this? - You are welcome to ask directly here, or best of all ask your colleagues at the ODJ (Dominik Doll, Thomas Pawlassek), if your topic is more Azure DevOps specific the CPS team will be available to help you.
- Can I also use a subscription that I already have? - Of course you can, here too the Azure DevOps project can simply be imported. Important: A corresponding product under the subscription. Please also bear in mind that all colleagues who are maintained via the ODJ subscription will also have access to the project. In case of doubt, consider another subscription.
